HMM-268 “Red Dragons” was a Marine medium helicopter squadron that operated the CH-46E Sea Knight as part of MAG-24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, based at MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. The Red Dragons provided assault support, troop transport, external lift, and medevac across the Pacific theater and deployed aboard amphibious ships with Marine Expeditionary Units. HMM-268 transitioned to the MV-22B Osprey and redesignated as VMM-268, but this sticker preserves the squadron’s CH-46 era insignia — a tribute to the Phrog and the Pacific Marines who flew her.
