Donald Cook — carrying forward the courage of a Medal of Honor Marine.
USS Donald Cook (DDG-75) is an Arleigh Burke-class Flight IIA guided-missile destroyer of the United States Navy, commissioned on December 4, 1998. Named after Colonel Donald G. Cook, USMC, a Medal of Honor recipient who died as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, DDG-75 carries forward a legacy of extraordinary courage and selfless devotion. Armed with the Aegis Combat System, Tomahawk cruise missiles, and Standard Missiles, Donald Cook has served in the Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Arabian Gulf, conducting strike warfare, ballistic missile defense, and freedom of navigation operations. The ship was notably homeported at Naval Station Rota, Spain, as part of the forward-deployed Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense force in Europe. This vinyl sticker features the Donald Cook crest.
