Eagle Dustoff represents the air ambulance crews of the 101st Airborne Division who conducted helicopter medevac operations during the Vietnam War. Flying UH-1 Hueys marked with the red cross, these crews flew into hot landing zones under enemy fire to evacuate wounded soldiers — often at extreme personal risk. The 101st’s Dust Off teams earned a reputation for going where others wouldn’t.
