**Officially Licensed USMC VMM-364 Purple Foxes Sticker — Marine Tiltrotor Squadron Vinyl Sticker**
VMM-364 Purple Foxes — the squadron that flew into the jaws of the Tet Offensive and came out swinging. From rice paddies to rotor wash in the Al Anbar desert, these Marines never stopped hauling.
VMM-364, the “Purple Foxes,” traces its roots to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364 (HMM-364), activated on September 21, 1961, at Marine Corps Air Station Santa Ana, California. The squadron deployed to Vietnam in 1964, flying UH-34D Seahorses in support of Operation Shufly before transitioning to the CH-46 Sea Knight. During the Tet Offensive in 1968, the Purple Foxes flew critical resupply and medevac missions under intense fire. The squadron later served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Redesignated VMM-364 in 2013, the Purple Foxes transitioned to the MV-22B Osprey and now operate under Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, out of MCAS Miramar, California.
