US Navy Helicopter Squadron HSL-36 Sticker — Lamplighters of the Fleet
HSL-36 lit up the battlespace for surface combatants across the globe — no submarine could hide for long.
Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 36 (HSL-36) was a U.S. Navy LAMPS helicopter squadron that flew the SH-60B Seahawk. As a LAMPS Mk III unit, HSL-36 provided organic aviation assets to surface warships, dramatically increasing their ability to detect, classify, and engage submarine threats well beyond shipboard sensor range. The squadron maintained a demanding deployment cycle, with multiple detachments simultaneously at sea aboard different vessels. HSL-36’s service reflected the tireless commitment of Navy rotary-wing aviators to fleet defense.
Perfect For: HSL-36 alumni, LAMPS community veterans, Seahawk aircrew, destroyer and frigate sailors, and ASW history buffs.
