Description
Officially Licensed USMC HMLA-773 Det Bravo Patch — Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 Detachment Bravo Embroidered Patch
Det Bravo — HMLA-773’s forward-deployed detachment, bringing Reserve attack helicopter firepower wherever the Marine Corps needs it most.
Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 (HMLA-773) Detachment Bravo is a deployed element of HMLA-773, a USMC Reserve light attack helicopter squadron that operates the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom. Detachment Bravo represents HMLA-773’s ability to task-organize and deploy smaller, self-contained units to support Marine Air-Ground Task Force operations, exercises, and combat deployments around the world.
HMLA-773 is part of Marine Aircraft Group 49 (MAG-49), 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, and is one of the Marine Corps Reserve’s attack helicopter squadrons. Despite their Reserve status, HMLA-773’s Marines maintain full combat readiness in the demanding attack helicopter mission, flying the AH-1Z Viper for close air support, armed escort, and anti-armor missions, and the UH-1Y Venom for assault support, casualty evacuation, and command and control. Detachment Bravo operates as an independent tactical element, capable of sustained combat operations with its own maintenance, ordnance, and support personnel.
The detachment concept allows HMLA-773 to support multiple operations simultaneously, providing Marine expeditionary units, Marine air-ground task forces, and joint task forces with organic rotary-wing attack capability tailored to the mission requirements.
Perfect For: HMLA-773 Det Bravo members and veterans, AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom community, Marine Reserve aviation personnel, 4th MAW community, and Marine aviation detachment patch collectors.
