Description
Officially Licensed USMC VMFA-112 Cowboys Patch — Lone Star Hornets
The Cowboys of VMFA-112 ride Hornets instead of horses, but the Texas spirit is the same — tough, independent, and always ready.
Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112 (VMFA-112), the Cowboys, is a Marine Corps Reserve F/A-18 Hornet squadron based at NAS Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base in Texas. As one of the few Reserve fighter squadrons in the Marine Corps, VMFA-112 maintains a cadre of highly experienced pilots — many with extensive fleet and combat backgrounds — who balance civilian careers with the demanding requirements of tactical fighter aviation. The Cowboys regularly participate in exercises, deployments, and air combat training, proving that Reserve fighter squadrons can match their active-duty counterparts in skill and readiness.
Perfect For: VMFA-112 Cowboys pilots and maintainers, Marine Reserve aviators, F/A-18 Hornet enthusiasts, Fort Worth-based Marines, and Reserve fighter community collectors.
Texas tough and combat ready — that’s the Cowboy way.
