Description
Officially Licensed USMC HMLA-369 Gunfighters OIF Patch — Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron Operation Iraqi Freedom Embroidered Patch
The Gunfighters in Iraq — Cobras and Hueys over the Euphrates.
HMLA-369 “Gunfighters” deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, flying AH-1W Super Cobras and UH-1N Twin Hueys (later AH-1Z Vipers and UH-1Y Venoms) in some of the most demanding combat operations of the Iraq War. The Gunfighters provided close air support for Marine ground forces during the initial invasion, the Battle of Fallujah, counterinsurgency operations in Al Anbar Province, and sustained combat operations throughout the conflict. This OIF patch commemorates the Gunfighters’ service during a defining chapter of the Global War on Terror.
Perfect For:
HMLA-369 Gunfighters OIF veterans, Marine light attack helicopter crews who deployed to Iraq, GWOT deployment patch collectors, and Skid Kids who flew combat in Iraq.
