Pegasus is the Pacific heavy-lift force, providing the CH-53E capability for III Marine Expeditionary Force operations across the Indo-Pacific theater. The squadron regularly deploys aboard amphibious ships and to forward operating locations throughout the Western Pacific, supporting exercises and contingency operations from Japan to Australia.
