USMC AH-1T Patch — The SuperCobra’s Predecessor
The AH-1T was the bridge between the original Cobra and the SuperCobra — a stepping stone in Marine attack helicopter evolution.
The Bell AH-1T was a transitional variant of the AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter that served the Marine Corps between the original AH-1J SeaCobra and the definitive AH-1W SuperCobra. This embroidered patch celebrates the AH-1T, which introduced the twin-engine Bell 214 power section to the Cobra airframe, providing improved performance and reliability. The AH-1T saw service with Marine light attack helicopter squadrons during the late Cold War period, bridging the gap between generations of Marine attack helicopter capability and paving the way for the SuperCobra and today’s AH-1Z Viper.
Perfect For: AH-1T Cobra veterans, Marine attack helicopter historians, Bell Cobra evolution enthusiasts, and USMC legacy helicopter embroidered patch collectors.
