The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was the backbone of Marine tactical electronic warfare from the 1970s through 2019, when the last Marine Prowler squadron, VMAQ-2 “Death Jesters,” was deactivated, ending the Marine Corps’ electronic warfare aircraft mission.
