US Navy Bahrain C-12 Instructor Pilot Patch — UC-12 Huron Instructor Pilot Embroidered Patch

Teaching the art of military aviation in the heart of the Gulf.

This US Navy Bahrain C-12 Instructor Pilot patch identifies qualified instructor pilots who fly the UC-12 Huron (military variant of the Beechcraft King Air) from the U.S. Naval Support Activity in Bahrain. The UC-12 serves as a multi-purpose utility and transport aircraft in the U.S. Fifth Fleet area of operations, providing VIP transport, logistics flights, and training missions across the Persian Gulf region.

The UC-12 Huron is a twin-turboprop aircraft used by the Navy for a variety of missions, from transporting senior officers and government officials between bases in the Middle East to conducting training flights and maintaining aircrew proficiency. Instructor pilots assigned to Bahrain hold one of the most unique flying assignments in the Navy — operating in the high-heat, high-density-altitude desert environment of the Arabian Gulf while teaching co-pilots and transitioning aviators the skills needed to safely operate in this demanding theater. The Bahrain assignment combines the challenges of desert flying with the strategic importance of the Fifth Fleet’s area of responsibility.

This patch identifies the IPs who train aviators in one of the Navy’s most demanding overseas assignments.

Perfect For: UC-12 Huron pilots, Bahrain-based naval aviators, instructor pilots stationed overseas, and Navy utility transport aviation collectors.
