The 160th SOAR is the Army’s only special operations aviation regiment, flying modified MH-60 Black Hawks, MH-47 Chinooks, and MH/AH-6 Little Birds on the most demanding missions in the U.S. military. Headquartered at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, the Night Stalkers pioneered nighttime flying techniques and have been continuously engaged in combat operations since 2001.
