Description
US Navy Helicopter Squadron HSL-32 Sticker — Shipboard Warriors of the Seahawk
HSL-32 took the fight to the enemy’s submarines from every flight deck that would have them.
Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 32 (HSL-32) was a U.S. Navy LAMPS helicopter squadron operating the SH-60B Seahawk. As a light airborne multi-purpose system unit, HSL-32 maintained multiple detachments deployed simultaneously aboard cruisers, destroyers, and frigates across the fleet. These small, tightly-knit detachments operated semi-autonomously from their parent squadron, providing commanding officers with organic airborne anti-submarine warfare, surveillance, and over-the-horizon targeting capabilities. HSL-32’s service exemplified the expeditionary nature of Navy rotary-wing aviation.
Perfect For: HSL-32 veterans, SH-60B aircrew, shipboard aviation detachment members, ASW operators, and Navy helicopter community supporters.
Small detachments, massive impact.
