IYAOYAS Share a Bomb from Ordnance PVC Patch — Because Every Sortie Starts with a Red Shirt
If You Ain’t Ordnance, You Ain’t… well, you know the rest.
IYAOYAS is the battle cry of Aviation Ordnancemen across the Navy and Marine Corps — the red-shirted warriors who handle, store, maintain, and load every missile, bomb, torpedo, rocket, and round that goes on a naval aircraft. The AO rating was established on March 2, 1926, and from day one these Sailors and Marines have owned one of the most dangerous jobs on the flight deck. They build warheads in climate-controlled magazines, hustle ordnance from ship elevators to the hangar bay and up to the flight deck, and triple-check every circuit before the pilot presses the trigger. The acronym IYAOYAS — “If You Ain’t Ordnance, You Ain’t Sh*t” — is scrawled on workbenches, stitched on morale patches, and shouted from flight decks worldwide. It’s half punch line, half rallying cry, and all pride. This “Share a Bomb” PVC patch is pure ordie energy — because nothing says camaraderie like offering someone a little high explosive.
Perfect For: Aviation Ordnancemen past and present, Navy and Marine Corps red shirts, flight deck crews, AO school graduates, bomb builders, missile loaders, and anyone who lives the IYAOYAS life.
IYAOYAS — sleep is optional, perfection is mandatory.
