Official HT-8 Eightballers Christmas Patch and Name Tag
Holiday spirit at NAS Whiting Field — where every Naval Aviator who flies rotary wing gets their start.
Helicopter Training Squadron 8 (HT-8) “Eightballers” is the U.S. Navy’s oldest helicopter training squadron in continuous service, based at NAS Whiting Field, Florida. Since its establishment as Helicopter Training Unit 1 in 1950, HT-8 has trained thousands of Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and allied student Naval Aviators in rotary-wing flight. Now flying the TH-73A Thrasher, HT-8 continues producing the helicopter pilots the fleet demands. This Christmas-themed patch and matching name tag bring holiday cheer to the training command.
Perfect For:
HT-8 instructors and students, NAS Whiting Field personnel, rotary-wing student Naval Aviators, and holiday aviation patch collectors.
