HSC-21 “Blackjacks” operates five expeditionary MH-60S Seahawk detachments from NAS North Island, deploying aboard combat logistics ships, hospital ships, and amphibious assault ships across the Pacific Fleet. Originally established as HC-11 in 1977, the Blackjacks execute vertical replenishment, search and rescue, anti-surface warfare, and mine countermeasures from flight decks across every ocean. This Christmas-themed patch and matching name tags bring the holiday spirit to the squadron.
