This patch marks the New Orleans Air and Marine Branch’s transition from legacy U.S. Customs to CBP’s Air and Marine Operations organizational structure. The Bayou Bushwackers operate along Louisiana’s Gulf Coast with rapid launch capability to the Gulf of Mexico, targeting drug trafficking, illegal immigration, and terrorist-related incidents across the Mississippi River Delta, offshore platforms, and the bayou waterway systems. This 2010 design is a collector’s piece — once they’re gone, they’re gone.
