With over 60,000 employees operating in some of the most stressful and dangerous law enforcement environments in the country, CBP recognized the critical need for resilience programs that address the unique psychological toll of border security operations. RED provides peer support, critical incident stress management, chaplaincy services, and employee assistance programs to CBP officers, Border Patrol agents, and support staff.
