USS Enterprise CVN-65 Sticker — The Big E
The most famous name in the Navy belonged to the world’s first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier — and she earned every bit of that legacy.
USS Enterprise (CVN-65), “The Big E,” was the world’s first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and one of the most iconic warships in naval history. Commissioned in 1961, Enterprise served for over 50 years — the longest active career of any carrier in history. CVN-65 participated in the Cuban Missile Crisis blockade, flew combat missions over Vietnam, launched strikes during Operation Enduring Freedom, and responded to countless crises around the globe. Her eight nuclear reactors made her the fastest carrier in the fleet, and her name carried the legacy of the legendary WWII Enterprise (CV-6). The Big E’s decommissioning in 2017 closed an extraordinary chapter in naval aviation.
Perfect For: CVN-65 Enterprise crew veterans, nuclear carrier historians, The Big E enthusiasts, naval aviation collectors, and ship heritage sticker fans.
