USMC Women Marines — USMC Embroidered Patch
Free a Marine to Fight
Women have served in the Marine Corps since 1918, and today’s female Marines serve in every MOS from infantry to aviation to cyber. This officially licensed patch honors the trailblazing women who have worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.

From Opha May Johnson, the first woman to enlist in the Marine Corps in 1918, to today’s female Marine infantry officers, fighter pilots, and combat engineers, women have continually expanded their roles and proven their capabilities in the Corps.
