Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 24 served as the logistical and maintenance backbone of Marine Aircraft Group 24 at MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. The squadron’s Marines maintained readiness for one of the Marine Corps’ most expeditionary aviation groups, supporting deployments across the vast Pacific theater. From intermediate maintenance on complex aircraft systems to ammunition logistics and aviation supply, H&MS-24 Marines ensured that MAG-24 could respond to any contingency from its Pacific base. The unit’s legacy continues through MALS-24, the Warriors, maintaining the same commitment to aviation excellence.
