Description
**Officially Licensed USMC HMLA-367 Japan Squadron Sticker — Scarface Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron Japan Deployment Vinyl Sticker**
Scarface in the Pacific. This Japan deployment sticker represents HMLA-367’s deep ties to the Western Pacific — from Okinawa rotations to forward-deployed operations across the region.
HMLA-367, the legendary “Scarface” squadron, has roots stretching back to World War II when they fought over Peleliu and Okinawa as VMO-3. Reactivated for Vietnam in 1966, Scarface became the first Marine squadron to employ the AH-1G Cobra in combat and flew near-daily MACV-SOG missions deep into Laos. During Desert Storm, the squadron recorded the first Iraqi tank kill by an AH-1W SuperCobra and accrued more confirmed kills than any other combat squadron in theater. After multiple Iraq and Afghanistan deployments — including the first combat deployment of the UH-1Y and battles in Marjah and Now Zad — Scarface moved to MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, before being decommissioned and reactivated at MCAS Camp Pendleton in December 2022 under MAG-39 and 3rd MAW.
