HMM-364 “Purple Foxes” deployed to Vietnam, where CH-46 Sea Knight crews flew combat missions across I Corps. The Purple Foxes were part of the massive Marine helicopter commitment to Vietnam, flying assault support, troop lift, medevac, and resupply under some of the most dangerous conditions of the war. This Vietnam-era patch preserves the Purple Foxes’ identity as it appeared during their Southeast Asia deployments.
