VRM-30 Japan Shisa Dog Patch — Embroidered Patch

Titans in the Pacific — VRM-30 Shisa Dog Patch

When VRM-30 forward deployed to Japan, they brought the Navy’s newest logistics capability to the most strategically critical theater on earth — and honored their host nation with a Shisa dog design that bridges American naval aviation with Okinawan guardian tradition. This patch marks the Titans’ presence in the Indo-Pacific as part of Forward Deployed Naval Forces.

Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron 30 (VRM-30), the “Titans,” is the U.S. Navy’s first CMV-22B Osprey squadron. Established on 14 December 2018 at Naval Air Station North Island, California, VRM-30 operates the CMV-22B — a carrier onboard delivery variant of the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor — replacing the legacy C-2A Greyhound. On 15 July 2024, VRM-30 forward deployed to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, as part of Forward Deployed Naval Forces, bringing the CMV-22B’s enhanced range, speed, and cargo capacity to the Western Pacific. The Shisa dog on this patch is an Okinawan lion-dog guardian figure, a traditional protector against evil spirits — a fitting symbol for a squadron that protects the fleet’s logistics lifeline in the most contested theater on the globe.

Perfect For: VRM-30 Titans personnel, CMV-22B Osprey crews, Forward Deployed Naval Forces members, MCAS Iwakuni-based sailors, and anyone who connects with the Titans’ Pacific mission.
