The Stingers of HMLA-267 deployed a skid det with the 31st MEU — Cobras and Venoms from Okinawa.

Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267 (HMLA-267), the Stingers, deployed a detachment of AH-1Z Vipers and UH-1Y Venoms with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. This PVC patch commemorates that forward-deployed detachment. HMLA-267’s skid det provided the 31st MEU with close air support, armed escort, and utility helicopter capability from amphibious ships.
