Official VMM-263 Buff Thunder Chicken Sticker — Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263 MV-22 Osprey Vinyl Sticker
The Buff Thunder Chicken — VMM-263’s jacked-up mascot takes flight.
The VMM-263 “Buff Thunder Chicken” sticker features the squadron’s iconic Thunder Chicken mascot in an over-the-top, muscled-up variant that captures the irreverent humor and aggressive spirit of the Osprey crews at MCAS New River. VMM-263 flies the MV-22B Osprey under MAG-26 and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, providing assault support transport for II Marine Expeditionary Force. The “Buff” variant of the Thunder Chicken takes the squadron’s already bold identity and turns it up to eleven — because the Marines who fly into the hottest landing zones deserve a mascot that looks like it could handle the fight on the ground too.
VMM-263 made history as the first operational MV-22B Osprey squadron in the United States Marine Corps, redesignated on March 3, 2006, and the first unit to take the Osprey into combat when it deployed to Iraq in September 2007. The Thunder Chickens have also earned fame for the dramatic rescue of downed Air Force pilot Captain Scott O’Grady in Bosnia in 1995. This sticker puts the squadron’s personality front and center in a format that works on water bottles, toolboxes, laptops, and anything else that needs some Thunder Chicken energy.
Perfect For:
VMM-263 Thunder Chickens members and veterans, MV-22 Osprey crews, MAG-26 and 2nd MAW Marines, morale sticker collectors, and anyone who appreciates a buff chicken.
