Official VMFA-311 Tomcats F-35C PVC Shoulder Patch — Marine Fighter Attack Squadron F-35C Lightning II PVC Patch

The Tomcats enter the fifth-generation arena — VMFA-311 in the F-35C Lightning II.

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 311 (VMFA-311), the “Tomcats,” operates the F-35C Lightning II from MCAS Miramar, California, under MAG-11 and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The F-35C is the carrier-variant of the Joint Strike Fighter, designed to operate from the flight decks of the Navy’s aircraft carriers while bringing stealth, advanced sensor fusion, and network-centric warfare capability to the Marine Corps’ fighter attack mission. VMFA-311’s transition to the F-35C represents the Marine Corps’ commitment to maintaining fifth-generation airpower that can deploy from both shore bases and carrier decks.

The Tomcats trace their lineage back to December 1, 1942, when the squadron was commissioned as VMF-311 at Cherry Point. The squadron flew combat missions in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, and most recently operated the F/A-18 Hornet before transitioning to the Lightning II. The F-35C’s combination of low-observable stealth, advanced electronic warfare systems, the Distributed Aperture System, and the ability to fuse data from every sensor on the battlefield into a single pilot display makes it the most capable fighter aircraft ever deployed by the Marine Corps. This PVC shoulder patch variant offers superior durability, water resistance, and vivid three-dimensional detail.

Perfect For:
VMFA-311 Tomcats aircrew and maintainers, F-35C Lightning II enthusiasts, MAG-11 and 3rd MAW personnel, MCAS Miramar Marines, and fifth-generation fighter aviation PVC patch collectors.

Tomcats. Fifth-gen. Lightning strikes.
