DMZ Dustoff — one of the last medevac units into Vietnam and one of the last to leave.
The 237th Medical Detachment — callsign “DMZ Dustoff” — was one of the last Dust Off units to arrive in Vietnam and one of the last to depart. Operating in the dangerous DMZ region, the 237th’s crews flew UH-1 Huey medevac missions in some of the most heavily contested airspace in the war. This patch carries the identity of a unit that served until the very end.
