Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (VMM-163) “Evil Eyes” is a United States Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey squadron based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California. This blackout edition patch represents VMM-163 in its reinforced (REIN) configuration — when the squadron is augmented with additional aircraft and detachments to serve as the aviation combat element of a Marine Expeditionary Unit.
